’tis the season to be jolly

And finally, it’s December, the time we’ve all been waiting for. A month of gifts, 13th month pays, bonuses and sales. We put christmas ornaments all over our house because it gives us more christmas vibe. We go to church early in the morning to complete the days hoping it would help our hopes and wishes come true. We buy ‘bibingka and puto bumbong’ to aid our hunger after the church service. We see kids singing christmas songs to every houses with the exchange of money or goodies. We see those solicitors who brings envelope in public vehicles more often. We see those government officials in posters with christmas greetings. And we see more foods on our table than the usual.

But little did we know, we are captured by these things and it comes to the point wherein we lose the essentiality of this season. Why? because we are busy preparing stuff. We cram. We are run by the masses who do things these way. Like, if we aren’t be able to do things what the masses do, we are different or outsiders.

I hope we won’t forget why we celebrate it. Remember that there’s the Supreme Being who were born in this world to save us. After all, the main requirement of this season is love-giving.

How’s december goin’ on guys? Let me know on the comment section below.
Advance Merry Christmas to all of you! 🙂
