If you’re a Potterhead, this cafe is for you. I’ve been rooting for this place since I saw it from other blogs and wanted to go here as my feet itched so. I’m aware of the fact that it takes a lot of effort and money, definitely!, to fly off to London to experience the magical world of Harry Potter but now discovering this place kinda quenched my thirst.
So we decided to go during the day with less traffic, SATURDAY. *sarcasm intended* hahahahah yeah, we had no choice but to traverse the road for the sake of this coffee shop. We arrived around 7pm but we had to wait for 30 minutes because there were people who were still inside and people who were also in the waiting list like us. Luckily, the crew called us first because those people who were first on the list left maybe because it took them hours of waiting outside.
As we entered the premises, we were welcomed with these stuff:
It has two floors, but we had to order first before climbing our asses up. We ordered, of course, the famous butterbeer and then bacon wrapped chicken.
After giving them our orders, we climbed up and guess what welcomed us..
Different HP Stuff! WEEEE! There are robes for different houses, whether you love Gryffindor or the house of Newt Scamander, Hufflepuff. We wore the robes before, during and after munching our orders. I found butterbeer a bit too sweet for my taste but the bacon wrapped chicken saved the day and my tummy.
The wands of Voldemort and Professor Dumbledore are freely lying on the table. I had the chance to hold the two and as I held the elder wand, for a moment I felt like I’m the most powerful wizard of all time *insert excited & overflowing joy emoji here* (not sure if an emoji can wrap it altogether). You can sit on their hanging net rack while reading different versions of HP books or you may also choose from other best-selling novels at their shelf.
Now, if you aren’t sure of what house you do belong, you may leave it to the Sorting hat, he will take care of it. hihihi! You will also see a replica of Nimbus 2000 hanging inside. As you remember, Nimbus 2000 was been given by Professor McGonagall to Harry after making it to Gryffindor Quidditch Team.

*Route to The Nook Cafe
– Ride a Jasper jean bus liner heading to Sm Megamall
-From Sm Megamall, ride another bus with SM Fairview sign board and tell the driver to drop you to Philcoa
-From Philcoa, ride a tricycle heading to Sikatuna Village and tell the driver to drop you off to Nook Cafe. ( trike drivers are pretty familiar with cafes there)
The Nook Cafe is exactly located at 164A Maginhawa St., Sikatuna Village, Quezon City. It’s open from Mondays-Fridays at 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Saturdays-Sundays at 11:oo am to 10:00 pm.
If you have plans to visit the place, maybe weekdays would be the best days to visit. Though still, I advice you to bring extra patience with you ’cause you will never know what degree of traffic awaits you. HAHA!
You may find the place a bit too small but I think it would never hinder me or you to produce a full body of patronus charm.
After all, we enjoyed our coffee shop-ing experience to the point where we only muttered two words..
